Signs posted at an Oahu beach after tiger shark sighted

EWA BEACH, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Signs are posted at an Oahu beach after a tiger shark was spotted Tuesday.

Ocean safety officials say a roughly eight-foot long tiger shark was seen swimming in the waters at White Plains Beach.

Lifeguards have posted signs warning of the sighting and they are advising beachgoers to stay out of the water.

Signs will remain posted until the all clear is given by Ocean Safety officials.
