About Us

Alpine Hardware of Colorado began serving Aspen Colorado in 1971 by Vance Grenko. Vance's daughter Vicki Peterson purchased the store from her parents in 1995. Vicki and her son Vance, expanded services to Carbondale in 1998 by opening Ace Hardware of Carbondale. Again, in 2006, with the help of her managing partners Chris Peterson and Tony Wells Alpine Hardware of Colorado purchased the existing hardware store in Clifton. In 2020 North Avenue Ace Hardware opened in Grand Junction in Teller Arms. Ace Hardware of Carbondale has had the pleasure of supporting the local and surrounding communities for over 20 years, as a part of Alpine Hardware of Colorado.
