One of Batman's most popular stories is being transformed into an animated movie, titled Batman: Hush.

Writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee's immensely popular 12-issue Batman storyline "Hush" will be one of DC's future animated movies. The only information provided about the highly anticipated adventure is that it will release in the summer of 2019. For now, we will have to wait to find out who will direct and write the adaptation, as well as whether it will stand on its own (like Gotham by Gaslight and Batman: The Killing Joke) or if it'll be reworked to fit in Warner Bros.' animated universe that started with Justice League: War in 2014.

The action-packed comic book storyline was full of familiar faces -- Catwoman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Ra's al Ghul, Poison Ivy, Nightwing, Huntress, the Riddler and several other DC heroes and villains played roles in the memorable story as a new villain named Hush set his sights on the Dark Knight.

Only time will tell how much of the source material is included in this animated adaptation and whether it lives up to fan expectations. In the meantime, fans have The Death of Superman to look forward to as the next installment from Warner Bros. Animation, when it goes on sale August 7.
