Oprah is adding yet another name to her growing empire, True Food Kitchen. Founded in 2008, with 23 restaurants in 10 states,  the brand appeals to Americans’ quickly changing palates, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. It also sells beer, wine and cocktails.

According to Valley News, “True Food Kitchen, with her investment slated to help it expand across the U.S. The brand plans to double its store count to about 46 in the next three years with a focus on the East Coast, including New York, New Jersey and North Carolina.” Along with joining the board of directors, Lady O will also be helping with company strategy. Reports say, “The chain sees revenue of $170 million this year, 25 percent higher than the total from 2017 and double the amount from 2016.”

Last month the 64-year-old signed a reported billion dollar deal with Apple and last year she sold a huge stake of OWN for a whopping $70 million.
