Silver Alert issued for missing Shallotte man

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Shallotte man.
James K. Clarida, Jr. was last seen at 655 Tryon Road wearing a black shirt and jeans. He is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Clarida is 45 years old, weighs about 200 pounds, and is 6' 4'".
Officials believe he may be headed to Horry County, South Carolina in a 2007 red Lexus IS250 with a North Carolina license plate.
