Harpeth Square officials announced late this week that the development's namesake hotel will open in August.

Encircling First and Second avenues, Bridge and Main Street, Harpeth Square will include residential spaces, businesses and a boutique hotel called the Harpeth.

The Harpeth will become a part of Hilton’s brand of unique boutique hotels. Developers have planned a 591-space parking garage beside it. Crews broke ground on the project in October 2017.

The boutique hotel will feature 119 spacious rooms and suites, and more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space for corporate groups and weddings.

Inside the hotel, two restaurants will also open.

The 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails will have a European cafe setting with an array of coffees, from slow drip to mochas. It also will have a limited cocktail and bar menu accompanied by artisan menu items.

Across the hotel entrance, the McGavock’s Coffee Bar & Provisions will feature contemporary American dishes.

The construction schedule

With the process coming to a close, cranes are no longer apart of the Franklin skyline.

Construction for the parking garage is 85 percent finished, with the hotel and apartments to follow.

Project managers anticipate opening the hotel side of the development by August. Apartment and retail components will open in the fall.
