The last post of, "An Open Letter to The Right", mentioned Sean Spicer resigning as the White House Press Secretary.

Since then there was a total of ten days of Anthony Scaramucci, which, was more than enough for the new Chief of Staff, John Kelly, and President Trump as well.

Farewell, Mr. Scaramucci.

Who cares, right!?!

This is what President Trump is all about. He isn't loyal, he isn't a swamp dweller, he has no experience being a politician, and he is doing exactly what his supporters want him to do.

What do his supporters actually want? Who knows!?!

Just, "Make America Great Again", right?

The point of doing this series of posts, "An Open Letter to The Right", is about something bigger and more important than just President Trump.

It's time to talk about Vice President, Mike Pence.

He is hiding pretty well in the background for the most part. Not too long ago, he made a post on Facebook which quickly caught my attention.

It was during the "Wealthcare" push and pull, before John McCain's absence.

Mike Pence, in an attempt to gain support, posted a list of the following organizations. The organizations are in favor of openly debating a new version of the AHCA bill.

Seems like a pretty tip-top list until you get to the 'Fs.

Well, if it isn't our old friends, the Faith and Freedom Coalition and the Family Research Council.

The Faith and Freedom Coalition is defined as, "A 21st-century version of the Christian Coalition.", which, sounds downright terrifying if I'm being completely honest.

The original Christian Coalition was an organization formed by, televangelist Pat Robertson, back in 1989. He used leftover resources from his failed Presidential campaign to help form the organization.

The Christian Coalition filed for tax exemption and was denied as a result of their political dealings.

They renamed by adding, "of America", to the end and relocated to the nation's capital.

Pat Robertson stepped down from the Presidency of the organization and turned it over to Roberta Combs along with the chairmanship. Since then, the organization is a mere shadow of its former self. Fortune Magazine once listed it as the 7th most powerful organization and now it is virtually bankrupt.

The organization didn't have any scandalous moments on its own. Pat Robertson, on the other hand, has quite a few shares of controversial and disagreeable moments.

He has denounced Hinduism as "demonic" and Islam as "satanic". He believed Ariel Sharon's stroke was an Act of God. Jerry Falwell, another controversial televangelist, blamed pagans, abortionists, feminists, gays, and lesbians for the terrorist attacks on September 11th, Robertson's response, "I totally concur.". Mr. Robertson even once suggested there are connections between Hurricane Katrina and September 11th.

Sounds pretty awful, right?

The Family Research Council has an even more despicable history in political affairs, to the point where the Southern Poverty Law Center has controversially designated them as a "hate group".

The FRC openly advocates and lobbies against LGBTQ people's rights. They also do so on the issues of abortion, stem-cell research, divorce, and pornography. The FRC supports abstinence-only sex education, intelligent design, prayer in public schools, and regulations for pornography and other obscene, indecent, or profane programming in the media.

It opposes the expansion of civil rights laws to cover sexual orientation and gender identity as an illegal basis for discrimination.

The events leading up to the SPLC's decision to mark the FRC as a hate group include Peter Sprigg, a Senior Fellow for Policy Studies at FRC, making the following statement on NBC's "Hardball".

"Criminal sanctions against homosexual behavior should be enforced.".

Tony Perkins, the President of the FRC, has made statements directly connecting pedophilia with homosexuality, saying, "homosexuality poses a threat to children.", repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" would encourage heterosexual service members to be molested, and is against homosexual adopting for the same reasons.

Ironically, Josh Duggar, from the television show "19 Kids and Counting", served as the FRC Action's executive director until it was revealed he himself was a child molester.

In response to being listed as a hate group, the FRC's made this official statement;

"[The SPLC is] reckless in labeling organizations as hate groups because they don't agree with them on public policy."

The SPLC replied the labeling was the result of, "[The FRC] knowingly spread false and denigrating propaganda" about lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgender people.

Both the Faith and Freedom Coalition and the Family Research Council have been around for quite some time.

I immediately picked up on these two names as I remember hearing a lot about them during the time I openly came out as gay to my family.

It was a large factor in why I chose to register as a Democrat when I changed my state of residence.

I don't know if these kinds of organizations openly support the Democratic party. Not even mirror opposite style organizations.

Even if there are comparable groups on, "The Left", I can't imagine what kind of backlash there would be if even such an organization existed.

Let this sink in for a moment.

There are organizations publicly labeled as being hateful towards specifically targeted groups of people. These groups lobby and earn money for the Republican party in an attempt to gain support for their causes, which, they describe as Christian, moral, and conservative.

The response is for people to feign ignorance or charge in completely blind.

I haven't heard any direct mention of these organizations from Vice President Pence.

It still matters these organizations exist and serve closely with the current administration.

They may have lost a lot of battles but, they're clearly still in the war.
