Pamela Anderson blames Fortnite and YouTube for ‘asexual men who HATE sex’

PAMELA ANDERSON reckons Fortnite and YouTube are behind an "epidemic" that's turning men into asexuals who hate sex.

The Baywatch-star-turned-agony-aunt made the barmy diagnosis in response to a question from a Dazed magazine reader who wanted to make her boyfriend "feel sexual again" amid an "asexual period".

"Does he watch a lot of explicit pornographers or video games? Does he feel numb? Is he sure of his sexuality?" asked Pammie.

"Too much masturbation or fantasies about cyber film stars or video games like Fortnite seem to be an addiction," added the former Playboy pinup.

"Or maybe it’s an evolution in the age of technology and germ phobias," she speculated, referring to the excessive fear of germs that tends to stem from an obsessive compulsive disorder.

Anderson went on to cite YouTube and too much masturbation as other apparent ailments of this newfound trend in celibate blokes.

But could the 51-year-old be onto something?

The World Health Organisation recently added "gaming disorder" to its International Charter of Diseases, forcing public health services to incorporate it into their systems.

Since then, the NHS has announced that it's opening a dedicated gaming addiction clinic in London that will provide free treatment to obsessed Brit gamers.

Meanwhile, the success of the free-to-play online title Fortnite Battle Royale has skyrocketed since its launch last September, with schoolkids and grown men getting in on the action.

The game finds 100 players taking part in a massive last-man-standing deathmatch using weapons (such as rifles and pickaxes), vehicles, and fort-and-ramp-building skills to gain victory.

Fortnite – which is available on consoles, PC, and iPhones – reportedly rakes in around $2million (£1.5million) per day on mobile alone. And its developer Epic Games is now worth up to a reported $8billion (£6.1billion).

"A computer has no attachment. And multiple bodies to look at to get excited about. It’s a dangerous time for good sex," warned Anderson.

You heard her ladies: time to start confiscating your bloke's Xbox One or PS4 before he goes off romps altogether.
