Event Information

Kodachadri is one of the beautiful mountain peaks of Karnataka. It is located in the west of Shimoga district, with an altitude of about 1343 meters above the sea level. It is also recognized as a natural heritage site by Karnataka government.

 

Literal Meaning of Kodachadri is “Jasmine of Hills” in the native language of Karnataka. The Place is famous numerous waterfalls and mountain peaks and One of the most famous waterfalls – “Hildumane Falls” is located right in the center of the valley.

 

The stunning views from the peak and a magical beauty of sunset make this places unique compared to other mountains peaks of Karnataka. And a night journey makes it’s an ideal weekend getaway close to Bangalore that one can venture into.
