Why do you officiate?
I started officiating when I was 13 to earn some money. After I graduated high school it became an important link to the game I love. Since that time I have had some amazing opportunities to continue my officiating career. Hockey has been and will continue to be one of the most important things in my life.

What was influential in you becoming an official?
My dad is the one that got me into officiating. He helped me with the tests and always had my back on and off the ice. He booked business trips to fly with me to my first national camp and tournament. He was also the first to buy tickets to my first NWHL game. He is my hockey rock!
