Several Liverpool fans have been attacked by a group of around 20 masked hooligans in Kiev.
The incident took place under 48 hours before the club's Champions League final against Real Madrid and on the day of the English team's safe arrival at their hotel
The supporters were dining at a restaurant in the city centre when they were attacked, with glasses and chairs thrown and with some suffering cuts and other minor injuries.
This incident took place despite a heavy police presence in the city, although it is hoped that such violent groups can be better controlled on Saturday, the day of the final.
