Aboard Maritime Museum

It’s time again for all aspiring ghosts, goblins, pirates and princesses to gather on the Star of India for some ghostly haunted tales of enormous proportions. Commercial service from Carlsbad to four destination cities is about to take off. California Pacific Airlines will offer direct service from McClellan-Palomar Airport to San Jose on Nov. 1 and Reno, Nevada, on Nov. 2. Flights to Las Vegas and Phoenix-Mesa start Nov. 15. The service gives North County residents a convenient alternative to San Diego International Airport – saving more than one hour of commute time.
