Friday, November 13, 2015: So, here we are. Irapuato Civil Court. Like I mentioned before nobody was expecting anyone from Adriana Coronel Tenorio’s (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) side to show up. Yes, the judge ordered them to all be there but that has not stopped Adriana in the past. If everyone is there, that is icing on the cake for us. So as Jorge and I were entering the courthouse, Graciela Alarcon Barreda is standing right in front of me. She still has the “Kate Plus Eight” hairdo and rather dress professionally like most attorneys worth their salt would do, Graciela looked like she was going clubbing on a Friday night. What do you expect from a dime store lawyer in the first place. Two other guys were with her. Not sure which one of these guys were Raymundo Cervantes Chavez, Juan Alberto Tapia Delgado or Rafael Flores Montoya de Anda. Frankly it didn’t really matter.

Jorge and I had to duck into another room to catch up with Lourdes, who could not make the trip. Toni text messages me and tells me everyone is there. Everyone except Adriana. NICE! As I walked into the courtroom, there you were nestled between Maria Guadalupe Tenorio Toledano (AKA Lupita Tenorio, Marsha Tenorio) and Alarcon Barreda. Standing in front of Graciela was either Raymundo Cervantes Chavez, Juan Alberto Tapia Delgado or Rafael Flores Montoya de Anda. Whatever his name was, he was less than 1/2 my size. I stopped in front of you as you were staring at the floor. I reached out to give you a small head massage and said “Hola Hermosa!”

Immediately you looked up with a smile on your face. Like the last time, you immediately looked the other way as Maria Guadalupe tried to cover your face with her hands so you could not look at me. It was then the guy less than 1/2 my size tells me I should keep walking and go into the court room as he tired to nudge his way between me and Samantha. After laughing right in face, I told the little man I’m not going anywhere, to not make the mistake of touching me again and that it’s he who should take a walk for his own good. And so he did, looking down at the floor as he walked away. Maria Guadalupe took Samantha to the ladies room. Unfortunately for her, the bathrooms only had room for 1 person at a time. And there they stood, right next to my legal team. Sam peering around Maria Guadalupe to catch a glimpse of me.

One of the other attorney’s we saw with Alarcon Barreda at the entrance to the court building comes over and tells us he was asked to join the team to help them out and wanted to know what they could do to find a compromise. It was a noble gesture to say the least. I asked him where Adriana was because any compromise talks would not be done unless she was sitting across from me at a table. He said he understood and said he would look into where she was. This guy was involved with the case for 5 minutes and knew what a lost cause his associates were representing. Suffice it to say, Adriana had no intention of being there.

So, our case is finally called and we enter the courtroom.
