World War II Akron with Author Tim Carroll

Local author Tim Carroll talks about and signs copies of his new book, World War II Akron.

World War II Akron tells the stories of Akron’s greatest generation and includes over 100 rare photographs, including one of the best collections of blimp photos ever published. Learn about the Akron area soldiers who served, the men who were killed in action, Akron’s Congressional Medal of Honor winners, the Boy Scout draft, the drafting of fathers, and a thorough history of Summit County during World War II.

Light refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Friends of the Goodyear Branch Library.

Program is limited to 60 adult attendees.

Registration begins on Monday, March 4.
