Some cryptic domain names for director Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 2 could offer some insight into the upcoming Warner Bros. film.

As well as the casting of Kristen Wiig as the villainous Cheetah, fans already know that the sequel will shift to a 1980s setting. There's little additional news about what else Jenkins has planned for the movie, but a recent flurry of activity could be a sign of things to come.

As spotted by Domain Name Wire, Warner Bros. has purchased numerous domains for Wonder Woman 2 well ahead of the start of production: wonderwoman1980.com, wonderwoman1981.com, wonderwoman1982.com, wonderwoman1983.com, wonderwoman1984.com, wonderwoman1985.com, wonderwoman1986.com, wonderwoman1987.com, wonderwoman1988.com, wonderwoman1989.com, wonderwomanarrives.com, wonderwomancheetah.com, wonderwomanlives.com, wonderwomanminerva.com, wonderwomanpart2.com, wonderwomanpartii.com, wonderwomanreturns.com, wonderwomanrises.com

The biggest takeaway is domain names for each year of the '80s, reaffirming that Gal Gadot's Diana will indeed will head to that decade. Interestingly, it doesn't specify which year in which the movie takes place, which may be a spoiler. Elsewhere, wonderwomancheetah.com and wonderwomanminerva.com relate to Wiig's character, whose real name is Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva. The rest appear to be potential working titles.

Whether Wonder Woman Lives becomes the official title of the sequel, it alludes to more cataclysmic events for Diana as she heads into a new era. Considering that previous Batman movies have both used Returns and Rises in their theatrical releases, Wonder Woman Returns and Wonder Woman Rises are presumably just working titles for Wonder Woman 2.

Given that the 2017 original took place in World War I, fans can expect a significant time jump to fill in the gaps between the events of Wonder Woman and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Either way, Jenkins has teased that filming could start "shockingly soon."

Directed by Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, Wonder Woman 2 is slated to hit theaters on Nov. 1, 2019.
