Watch as mudslide closes US 395 in Nevada

If you’ve driven long enough, you have seen the highway in front of you made impassable by any number of things. Snow. Flood waters. Bad-driving four-wheelers. Fog. Any manner of wildlife or livestock. But, on Monday, May 21, US 395 at Gardnerville, Nevada near the California state line was shutdown by, of all things, a 5-foot-high wave of mud. The highway has been reopened.
