The Today Family Violence Help Centre is hosting a Health Families, Healthy Relationships Support Group for Immigrant Women (They need 3 more participants to run):
Thursday mornings for 8 weeks starting May 24
Child care is free
TFVHC will take registrants until May 31 (second week of group)
Group will focus on
Types of abuse
Putting positive boundaries in place
The difference between the concept of western relationships and marital roles and balancing that with their own culture’s norms and values.
