Nina West instantly became a fan favourite while appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race due to her happy personality and kindness to everyone.
After being voted Miss Congeniality by her peers, she’s continued her mantra of "Be Kind, Go West" as she’s toured across the world.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy about her new video, The Drag Alphabet, Nina admitted she’d love to see a special Miss Congeniality All Stars season.
"Wouldn’t that be amazing?" She said. "The list is pretty incredible, Katya [Zamolodchikova], Latrice [Royale], Nina Flowers, Bendelacreme, Monet X Change. It would be remarkable."
Speaking about whether a season full of ‘nice queens’ would still contain as much drama, she added: "I think Drag Race UK answered that.
"I think it would be entertaining. Drag Race UK is not at all like the US version, especially when it comes to shade and drama and an ideal about drag.
"I think it would be really successful, and I think it’s also really needed in the current world climate where people are so quick to judge people based on one moment, living in a cancel culture. Wouldn’t it be nice if people were showing a little kindness and understanding? I think a season like that would be really great."
Nina also talked about her new song, The Drag Alphabet, which continues her mission to bring drag to a children’s environment.
"I wanted to release some more music and thought 'why not start at the basics', so I started at the alphabet.
"It’s the alphabet but in the context of drag and RuPaul and the show," she said. "It's a new way to learn words and phrases in the drag culture."
Nina, who appears in the video alongside Daniela Maucere a deaf teenager and Ivy Alona, an openly transgender, deaf 9-year-old, added that she wasn't concerned about any backlash from people claiming drag isn't suitable for young people.
"I think people who have that critique are people that aren’t really educated or well-versed in the performance of drag.
"I continue to do what I believe is right and I address the critique by continuing to put the work out there."
The Drag Alphabet is out now.
