As an 11th grade student at Payson High School, I would like to express how grateful I am to the Payson High School and the Aspire program for the opportunities they have afforded me by providing such a robust dual-enrollment program.
The hallways of Rim Country Middle School echo with the sounds of laughter and learning. After we returned from winter break, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) students undertook the task of being cartographers.

In the educational setting, special education related services refer to speech therapy, occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT). Unlike medical speech, OT and PT services providers test students to determine if skill deficiencies are impacting their ability to access the academic curriculum and environment.
Like happy new parents, when rainbow trout eggs are delivered to Rim Country classrooms each fall, there are squeals of joy and laughter. That enthusiasm continues throughout the school year as students take part in the Trout in the Classroom program.
The Payson Unified School District board unanimously voted Friday morning to go with an outside hire instead of a local staffer to serve as interim superintendent through the end of the school year.
The board interviewed five people for the position last week, including Mark Tregaskes and four local candidates.
Julia Randall Elementary is one school working with Rim Country Middle School on pen pals. Some of the advisory classes at RCMS are writing pen pal letters to students at JRE and Payson Elementary School. Pen pal letters give students a chance to practice both reading and writing skills.
