In honor of National Doughnut Day on June 7, the Rivertown Brewing Company and Butler County Donut Trail are teaming up and releasing a new beer - SprinkAle. SprinkAle is an imperial white ale brewed with sprinkle doughnuts from each of the 11 Donut Trail shops. “We are so excited to be partnering with the Doughnut Trail and the Butler County Visitors Bureau on this incredible collaboration. We really love doing beers that have a lot of personality and what could have more personality than a beer that brings together so many local businesses and flavors,” said Lindsay Roeper, co-owner of the Rivertown Brewing Company.This is not the first sweet collaboration that has happened in the Cincinnati area; earlier this month Graeter’s and Braxton Brewery teamed up to release a Key Lime Pie Ale.On National Doughnut Day an official SprinkAle tappening will take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m at Rivertown Brewery in Monroe, Ohio. The first 150 party attendees will receive a complimentary pint glass to celebrate the occasion.SprinkAle will be available on tap and in cans at over 20 locations around the Butler County, Cincinnati and Dayton region.
