Spring is in the air and 4/20 was a big day. Our cannabis retailer lookup directory website, DankMerchants.com, has a had a refresh. A new look should make search results easier to read. 

Update on selling digital marketing tools in India. Vidjaa’s founder, Mohan Sarma, is selling several of his books in India now through Amazon. The plan is to bundle a set of digital marketing tools for small to midsize Indian businesses that want to develop their digital marketing skills. We will likely start in Q3.

The big challenge is how to get paid. Our next blog post will share the details of getting paid online.

MKTG 675 Digital Marketing update

Mohan Sarma is scheduled to teach Digital Marketing MKTG 675 again this fall. The course includes Harvard cases, text, lecture, guest speakers, and group projects. The projects feature Google Ads campaigns for local RVA companies. There is no cost for the projects or to run the campaigns.  If you would like the grad students to work on a Google Ads project for your company, please email me at VCU, mksarma@vcu.edu. 

 

The VCU Executive MBA update

One year at VCU is done! The 2nd years fielded a team that won a major finance competition. A Strategic Dilemma project made from the classroom to the Virginia General Assembly to the Governor's desk and became state law. Read more here.
