HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The debut of Hawaii's newest Whole Foods store is just weeks away, the company announced Tuesday.

The new Ward Village location is set to open on May 9, 2018.

"We're excited to open the doors of our new Whole Foods Market Queen store for the Islands and to showcase the wonderful culinary creations found within the local communities across the state," said Annalee England, the team leader of the new location.

The new Whole Foods Market will comprise a 72,000 square foot space on two levels featuring local food products, as well as a smoked meat and mac & cheese bar.
