Microsoft's SwiftKey Keyboard app just received a major update today for Apple's iOS and Google's Android mobile operating systems with a bunch of goodies that fans of the third-party keyboard will probably love.
Ranked 40 on iOS App Store's Utilities category, SwiftKey Keyboard is a third-party keyboard that you can enable on your iPhone or iPad and use instead of the default one. SwiftKey is one of the most popular third-party keyboard apps out there because it can learn from you to offer your faster and easier mobile typing.
SwiftKey Keyboard has been updated today to version 7.0, which appears to be a major release designed to replace the existing Hub with an all-new Toolbar, which users can find under the "+" sign on the left of the prediction bar. The new toolbar is, in fact, an expandable menu for faster and easier access to SwiftKey's features.
Make your own stickers, type in 28 new languages
Apart from the new Toolbar, which is available on both Android and iOS operating systems, the SwiftKey Keyboard 7.0 release lets users type in 28 new languages, including Bengali (English), Marathi (English), Latin, and many others, bumping the supported languages to no less than 233, as well as to create and use their own stickers.
The new stickers appear to be available only on Android, and users can store them to Collections for easy access at a later time. You can get the latest SwiftKey Keyboard 7.0 app for either Android or iOS right now form the Google Play store or Apple's App Store for free. Existing users need only to update their installations to enjoy the new features.
SwiftKey also plans to continue the trend and add more awesome features and enhancements to its third-party keyboard for Android and iOS, so stay tuned!
