About Dress For Success Cincinnati 20th Anniversary

Celebrating 20 years of changing lives.

Dress for Success Cincinnati was founded in 1999 with the vision of providing assistance to women in need of appropriate clothing to wear to a job interview, and a stable, safe and loving environment for women learning to advance in their lives and careers on the road to financial self-sufficiency.

Over the past twenty years, the programs and services offered by DFSC have expanded to include job readiness preparation, mock interviews, professional and personal networking and financial planning. More than 17,500 women in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area have been served by DFSC. That’s something to celebrate!

We hope you’ll help us celebrate our 20th Anniversary by making a donation. Your donation ensures that we will be able to continue helping women successfully navigate the uneven road between job opportunity and financial self-sufficiency.

Dress for Success programs help women succeed

Success is not only about getting a job; it's about building a career.

Women making the transition from unemployment to work face many challenges. Our programs help them navigate this daunting change.

Our Career Center provides a space where clients can use our computers and printers and work one-on-one with volunteer coaches to create superior resumes and cover letters. They may also receive career counseling and participate in mock interviews.

Our Going Places Network (GPN) is a structured multi-week program that helps women gain professional skills, accelerate their job search and build confidence through weekly training sessions, one-on-one career coaching and networking in a supportive environment.

Our Professional Women's Group (PWG) provides information that helps women unfamiliar with the workplace continue to develop skills and advance in their careers. Membership is open to clients who have successfully gained employment. Topics are focused on the five pillars of financial wellness, business etiquette, work-life balance and leadership and civic responsibility. PWG members have lifelong access to resources that will help them further their personal and professional growth.
