Comfortable clean family home in Clifton Hill minutes from the station, cafes and parks.

Clifton Hill (3068) is a really lovely quiet family neighbourhood, we have a huge park meters from the house, lots of on street parking. Clifton Hill station is 5mins walk at the end of our street with trains directly to the CBD that get you to flinders in 11mins. Queens Parade shopping strip, restaurants, cafes, delis and fresh produce and the tram/bus interchange is about 12mins walk away. Collingwood pool, leisure centre and tennis courts are also just at the end of our street about 7mins walk away.

We are going away for 12 days from March 26th- April 6th and need someone to look after our two dogs at home and potentially give the garden a water twice a week. We have two very quiet housemates but they are too busy to look after the dogs and often not home (I think they may actually also be going away for Easter so you might have the whole house to yourself!).

You’ll have the whole back of the house (big bedroom and a private lounge/tv room) to yourself with double bed, big tv, xbox one and 360, private fridge, heaps of space, nbn wifi. Shared spaces include the kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry, big courtyard garden, dining room and a shared tv/lounge room but the housemates are rarely there and are really nice when they are there. Our home would ideally suit a quiet student or equivalent or even a couple, not really suitable for someone who works night shifts or goes out every single night as the dogs do need company during the night.

Our ex-racer greyhound and Italian greyhound are really cuddly loving dogs and pretty easy going. However they are not good with other dogs. Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience with reactive dogs and is used to staying alert, keeping a short leash and crossing the road when other dogs approach etc. They only need a short walk though and then sleep the whole day. They are fine alone during the day but do need someone there in the evenings and at night to feed and let them out. They absolutely love a cuddle and will be your new best friends!
