By now you’ve probably seen the trailer for “Top Gun: Maverick,” the sequel to the hit film from 1986. If not, have a watch:

And while it looks like Tom Cruise’s character, Maverick, is wearing the same leather jacket seen in the 1986 film, he’s not. The new jacket is missing the Japanese and Taiwanese flags:
