Dallastown student charged with threats released from prison

A Dallastown High School student, charged with threatening to bring a gun to school, was released from prison Friday after a judge reduced his bail from $225,000 to zero, according to York County Prison.

Brandon Jamal Thompson, 18, was released on unsecured bail but needs to meet several conditions, including wearing an ankle monitor.

Thompson, a senior at Dallastown Area High School, was charged with a single misdemeanor count of making terroristic threats on March 1 and had been in York County Prison ever since.
