Official Animal Crossing smartphone cases come to some European countries

Official Animal Crossing smartphone cases have arrived in Nintendo of Europe’s My Nintendo Store, although the United Kingdom has sadly been left in the dust.

There’s three designs currently in the series called Smartphone, Camping, and Fruit. The Smartphone design is a real-world version of the smartphone item characters use in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the Camping design uses Pocket Camp’s feature camping background art, and the Fruit design is just a lovely set of Animal Crossing fruits with a few characters on them.

As for smartphone compatibility, they’re unfortunately only made for iPhone 8, 7, 6S, and 6. The newest iPhone X models and Android phones are not compatible – we’d really like to see this expanded if Nintendo wants to get into making cases.

The cases can be purchased from the various My Nintendo Stores in Europe for €24,99 each and I’d definitely get the Fruit design if I could! If you live in a European country, click here to head to the portal linking to the different store pages for each region.

2019 UPDATE: If you’re looking for an Animal Crossing phone case and don’t live in one of the countries Nintendo is selling them in or they don’t support your phome, it’s worth checking out some of the cute fan-made cases available on RedBubble and Etsy!

These cases were also originally made available in Japan’s My Nintendo Store last year. Hopefully we’ll see a more expanded release to more regions soon, especially North America!
