PIC 2018 Membership 
PIC's membership drive for 2018 is open. A PIC membership is a great way to have your voice heard and be a part of an organization that unites the poultry industry. Raising Backyard Chickens Course 
As people are becoming more interested in where their food comes from, the trend of raising backyard chickens is growing. The city of Guelph approves backyard flocks, however many new growers have questions about bird health, welfare, environment, winter management, etc.  Join PIC on  Saturday, March 24th 2018   at the Kay House in Guelph and learn how to be an effective backyard manager. National Poultry Show
Following the success of the 60th anniversary, the London Poultry Show has been re-branded for 2018 as the National Poultry Show. Ag Lenders Day
If poultry is in your banking portfolio, consider attending PIC's Ag Lenders Conference to learn about this diverse agricultural sector. Join us on Thursday, April 12th 2018 and listen to poultry production updates from the four commodity boards addressing challenges and opportunities within the poultry sector. Additional presentations include a producer's perspective on new barn construction and retrofitting costs, current disease trends impacting the poultry industry and tax law changes affecting family farms. Research Day 
PIC's annual Poultry Research Day is a knowledge transfer session between academia and the industry. Join us on Wednesday, May 2nd 2018 in Stratford as we hear from renowned  researchers highlighting exciting findings applicable to on-farm production. HR Day 
PIC in partnership with the Poultry Service Association (PSA) presents Human Resource Day, an educational event for business owners, operators and HR personnel.On Wednesday, May 14th 2018 join us in Guelph as we  educate participants on best practices to protect their business from the pressure of special interest groups, become more effective managers and understand legal rights as peoples in upper management positions. "In The Coop" Podcast
The Poultry Industry Council now has it's very own podcast series called "In The Coop"! It is an education podcast that explores various topics and issues facing the Ontario poultry industry. The shows are scheduled to be released semi-weekly (every other Wednesday) and features industry experts as guest. PAACO 2018 Course Wait List 
As the only Canadian facilitator of the PAACO Poultry Welfare Auditor Course, PIC strives to deliver the session according to industry needs. Therefore, we have started collecting information for those interested in taking the course in November 2018.
