Ryan's Grill at Ward Center says 'aloha' after 34 years

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A longtime tenant at Ward Center closed its doors for good Saturday.

Customers and fans of Ryan's Grill got in one last dinner rush after 34 years in business.

"We had to come back one last time. We were reminiscing because we used to come here in our 20s and our 30s. We're just really sad to see it go," restaurant goer Carol Wilcox said.

Favorite menu items include li hing mui margaritas, crab and artichoke dip and the pea salad.

Items from the restaurant will be auctioned off online here. The auction runs till Jan 23 at 6 p.m.

Ryan's corporate office, Restaurants Unlimited, decided in December to close the location.
