Can’t play ResidentĀ EvilĀ 2 this weekend? Well, don’t despair, for you can get your survival horror kicks in Alien: Blackout instead.

This sequel to Isolation tells a brand new story in the Alien universe. You play as Amanda Ripley (the daughter of Ellen Ripley) on the Weyland-Yutani space station that just so happens to have been invaded by a Xenomorph.

Alien: Blackout follows Amanda Ripley who’s trying to survive against a Xenomorph

You probably know how this goes. Your role is to try and protect yourself and your crew from the hunter across seven different levels.

And you’ll have to do that with limited resources. Using the little power the station has left, you’ll operate gadgets like a holographic map, surveillance cameras, and a motion tracker to try and avoid the monster.

There are multiple different ways to succeed here, and many more ways to fail. Your actions will lead to a variety of different conclusions though, so there’s plenty of replayability.

So head on over to Google Play right now and get your scares in this awesome new survival horror.
