Indycube launches new co-working space

Community benefit society and cooperative Indycube Community is to open a new coworking space in Barry.

The space will be located in Castleland Community Centre, which will continue to be run by the Castleland Community Association on Belvedere Crescent and will be open during normal office hours.

Indycube Barry joins a host of other coworking spaces run by the organisation across Wales, and includes 14 desks spread over three rooms.

Indycube founder and Barry local, Mark Hooper said: "We’re delighted to be able to open a space so close to home.

"Since launching Indycube eight years ago, we’ve opened numerous sites across Wales, and have branched further afield to England, even teaming with the union Community in Scotland, but opening a space in the heart of my own hometown feels special."

Indycube will be hosting a launch event at Castleland Community Centre on Thursday, February 8th, between 4pm and 6pm.
