Winnsboro company official cargo carrier for Olympic USA Luge Team

WINNSBORO, TX (KLTV) - The official Team USA cargo carrier for the luge sport in the 2018 Winter Olympics is a company based out of East Texas.

Team Worldwide has been partnered with the USA Luge Organization for two decades.

Team Worldwide CEO Jason Brunson says, "If they need it moved from track to track, we're the ones taking care of it for them. They make a call to our group and then our group will handle the coordination."

Brunson emphasized how important it is for each luge sled and all equipment to arrive on time because the equipment is built specifically for its rider.

"So, one athlete can't just step onto the sled of another athlete, because it is not going to be tuned for them."

Brunson says he has enjoyed watching Team USA make history in the luge competition at the Olympics and says, "It is a special celebration to know that we played at least a very minimal part in some of that success."
