RVA Rap Elite (formerly Lyricist Lounge) has been reviving cyphers and rap battles at venues around Richmond since 2018, and has quickly become a new right of passage for emcees in the area. Their last showcase at the ICA packed the True Farr Luck Gallery. For their return appearance, RVA Rap Elite bring back the most authentic underground hip-hop experience in the city––a live event platform dedicated to lyricists, where old school nostalgia merges with modern design and social media.
