Joseph Gordon-Levitt Buys a Well-Preserved 1940 Paul Williams in Franklin Hills

New, 32 comments

This wonderful 1940 house by the great Paul R. Williams blends the Hollywood Regency style with the ubiquitous Ranch style, and we'd expect nothing less classic for dapper (500) Days of Summer and Inception star Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The star has just purchased the Franklin Hills property, which was on the market for the first time since 1957, says Variety. The three-bedroom, four-bathroom house has a walk-in bar; a cute, woodsy kitchen; beamed ceilings in the living room; wood floors; and a large poolside cabana in the back yard. Gordon-Levitt paid $3.25 million.
