#ThankAMomThursday

This Mother's Day, we're asking Coldwell Banker Trails West Realty brokers what they'd like to thank their moms for. And for some of them, as hard-working mothers, what's so rewarding about being a mom in the first place.
Sabine Andraud
Associate Broker

What is a Mother's Day tradition for you and your family?
We like to go out to eat, and it's my choice! Plus I usually get flowers! Also, on Father's Day, my daughter gives me a card. That melts my heart! Being a single mom, she says I do a good job as both parents!

What is a fond memory you share with your daughter, Arryel?
Well, she shares everything with me! I love that she likes to call me and talk about it all, the good and the bad.

What about being a mom did you learn from your mom?
To accept your child and let them be who they are. You're not there to judge!

What're the hardest and most rewarding parts of being a mother?

The hardest part would be having to hear about a sad situation in her life. I hate when she calls to tell me something didn't go well and I can't fix it. The most rewarding part is seeing how great Arryel turned out! Especially when you consider how close she and I are, we're practically glued at the hip. She has become such an independent and successful young lady. Although she says she still needs her mommy for guidance!
