Specimen Requests:

A primary reviewer reviews specimen requests within two weeks, and then the CBTN scientific committee has two weeks for any additional questions/comments.
Cell line requests will be reviewed within a week of submission by the Operations Center and Scientific co-Chair(s)

Data Use Requests:

CBTN Institutions: Raw Genomic Data, Clinical Data, Imaging

The request is submitted to the CBTN Data Use Committee for review. The committee has one week for review/questions/comments.

Clinical Data includes demographics, medical history (predisposition, family history of cancer), diagnosis (including conditions at the time of the diagnosis, tumor location) and treatment (radiation and/or chemotherapy). Pathology, Operative, and MRI reports are also available upon request. All information is de-identified and dates are reported by age in days. Limited fields are available through Kids First (https://portal.kidsfirstdrc.org/). Data is open access and no DUA is needed.

Imaging Data includes MRI images. Current imaging includes MRIs performed just prior to and following surgery. Additional imaging may be added upon request. Images will be delivered via Flywheel (chop.flywheel.io). A project will be created and we will invite you as a user. As of Decemeber 1, 2022 imaging data is controlled access and requires a signed DUA.

Raw Genomic Data includes BAM, CRAM, and FASTQ files from DNA and/or RNA genetic sequencing. It includes WGS, WES, RNASeq, Proteomics, Methylation, and/or Single Cell. An eRA Commons ID is required. A project would be created in Cavatica (Cavatica.org) and data would be moved there. This data is controlled access and requires a DUA.

Processed Data includes variant call (germline, somatic, expression) data. Somatic and expression data are open access and does not require a DUA. This data is available via PedcBioportal (pedcbioportal.org). Germline data is controlled access and does require a DUA. This data would be delivered in a Cavatica project as mentioned above.
