Man allegedly shoots his brother three times

An argument led to the unfortunate incident.

A 54-year-old man was shot by his 60-year-old brother apparently after the two had an argument, on January 9.

The incident took place at about 3pm at their company, on the corner of Lea and Kent roads, Anderbolt.

According to the Boksburg North SAPS communications officer, Captain Juanita Coetzer, the argument between the two brothers reportedly escalated and the older brother then allegedly drew his firearm and shot his brother.

“He was shot three times in the upper body and was transported to hospital.

“The brother was arrested and his firearm was confiscated,” Coetzer said.
