Math Problem Solving Activities, Games, and Puzzles: This festival will provide students with the opportunity to “play” with numbers and math problems in a social and cooperative setting.  This is not a competition, but is an opportunity for students to have fun exploring math concepts.

Festival goals:

• To evoke mathematical interest and enthusiasm in problem solving and discovery
• To help students make connections among widely different areas of mathematics
• To broaden the kinds of teaching and learning experiences in the student’s education
