Welcome to a whole new year with our wonderful Webafrica family!

We love you guys, we really do, and we are always looking for ways to show you just how much. That’s why we are continuously finding ways to improve our services and make sure that our suppliers put Webafrica customers first.

What you can expect from us in 2018:

This year, as part of our continuous ambition to improve and improve again, we are updating various aspects of our service processes.

Fresh Desk: We will be rolling out a new knowledge base for our customers, to help you trouble shoot many of the smaller technical issues every internet user experiences, right from your own home.

Support: Our Support Desk will be available from 06:00am to 12:00 midnight every day. We are hiring and training new team members all the time to make sure that there is always someone to take your call.

Online Support: Our Social Media Support agent will be available from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, in case you can’t manage to log a support request in your customer zone, or in the unlikely event that you don’t get through to our support desk on the phone.

Twitter: We will be unifying our two Twitter accounts (@Webafrica and @WebafricaHelper) under one banner (@Webafrica) in order to keep our processes more streamlined. It all works the same way, this just helps us to ensure that nothing slips under the radar.

Connectivity: We are committed to having frequent and open communication with our suppliers (such as the Fibre and LTE networks) to make sure that they are aware of your needs.

Delivery: We are committed to having frequent and open communication with our delivery teams and companies, to ensure that they are giving you the best possible service.

Social Media Freebies: Expect many competitions and giveaways, useful blog posts, how-to vlogs, and interesting content to make your online experience rewarding, entertaining and productive.

Charity Initiatives: We don’t like to brag about the work we do in the community, because we feel that this is not part of our marketing efforts. It’s just something every South African company has a responsibility to do. If you have a great initiative (backed up by an official NPO) which you feel our services could help out with, please feel free to contact our Social Media support agent with your ideas. We can’t promise to help everyone who approaches us, but if we have scope (we have a set number per year) and if it’s within our capacity to assist, we will be more than happy to see how we can help.

Website: We will be unrolling our new website, with improved functionality, in the first few weeks of 2018.

FOTS Teams: Our Feet on the Street (FOTS) teams will continue to visit Fibre and LTE live areas. Look out for our Ice, Ice Baby Bikes in the summer months, because they will be sharing freebies wherever they go! From Ice Creams to sweeties and on-the-spot prizes, it’s always worth going over to say “Hi” to them!
