Is its starting to feel like Christmas already? Can you feel the magic? Here's a little something that I created for Mixed Up Creative (link) and the inspiration came from fairy tales! The piece was published at Mixed Up Creative on September 21st. If you are not yet familiar with Mixed Up Creative, it's a online learning site with new tutorials published every week.
The piece is partly made with goodies from Artful Days. The big chipboard shape got me thinking of a spinning wheel and then there was the little tag saying "drink me" which I added to a little bottle and thus reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. Instead of making the piece sing with color, I stuck to a more neutral color scheme and made the project in the hues of tea and old paper not forgetting gold and copper.
