Having lived abroad for many years the Beckham family set down permanent roots in England again in 2014, spending an estimated £4 million renovating a Grade II-listed house in Holland Park. The project was originally given to Kelly Hoppen, before the baton was passed to Rose Uniacke, the queen of serene, refined spaces – a choice concurrent with Victoria's shift in personal style. According to Vogue, the project spawned 50 planning applications. In 2016, the family bought a £12 million converted barn in the heart of the Cotswolds, with both regularly posting idyllic family gatherings on their Instagram feeds, and which featured quite a bit in their new Netflix documentary, Beckham by Fisher Stevens.

In December 2018, David Beckham revealed that he had bought an Estonian igloo/sauna for his Cotswolds estate – the perfect idea for the man who has everything. The house is near Chipping Norton and a stone's throw away from the celebrity-beloved Soho Farmhouse. It's also close to Prince Harry and Meghan's rented country retreat on the Great Tew Estate.

The garden features a swimming pool, set within a stone wall and with lovely soft planting surrounding it.

We can't be certain that this shot of Romeo Beckham is taken inside the Cotswold house, however we can be pretty sure given that the rustic wood panelled walls are in keeping with other glimpses we've seen. If so, the family has great taste in rugs and a Tracey Emin artwork on the wall.

Romeo likes an outfit post as much as his mother, but prefers a mirror shot surrounded by the patina of the wall panels instead.

From the scale of this room glimpsed in Victoria's birthday Instagram for her son Romeo, we're guessing this is their Cotswolds pile, bought at the beginning of 2017.

The house which features most often on the family's Instagram is their Holland Park mansion, seen here being decorated for Halloween by David himself. This west London neighbourhood with its white wedding-cake houses is home to many of the city's super-rich inhabitants.

The exterior is quite impressive, with a portico to cover the entrance, double doors and a balustrade.
