Colorado Boudoir Photographers – Featuring The Beautiful Ms. M!

Awhile back, two amazing women contacted me and said that they wanted to do a session together. I always have to clarify when I get this question – do you want to do the sessions together, or TOGETHER, just to make sure! When someone is searching for Colorado boudoir photographers, you just never know, so I want to make sure that everyone is on the same page.

Two gorgeous friends came in together, had hair and makeup together, but took their own photos, and supported each other through everything!

Sidenote and shameless plug: did you know that you can do a session with your best friend, for moral support, and not have to take any photos together? True story.

I don’t claim to be a therapist, but usually, as a Colorado boudoir photographer, I turn into a little bit of a sounding board. I hear the stories that are often held inside, the feelings that don’t come out very often, but that stay inside with that nagging voice in the back of my clients’ heads.

My clients are almost naked – sometimes completely naked – in front of me, and it strips the hesitations with being emotionally naked as well.

The stories I’ve heard would bring you to tears – stories of abuse, both self abuse and from others, and so much more.

The beautiful Ms. M, and her best friend, both shared their struggles, and we talked and laughed for hours!

Here is some of what Ms. M had to say about herself, and her session:

What do you love about your body?

My eyes, my boobs, and my butt, all the things I get the most compliments on.

How did you feel about being half naked in front of the camera?

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I actually really enjoyed it, it made me realize that I am beautiful, and I should feel confidant in my own skin.

What’s your best tip for feeling sexy?

Confidence, find it, keep it, and don’t let anyone take it away.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with your younger self?

Don’t let people make you feel like you’re not good enough, or pretty enough. You are enough just the way you are.

What’s the best compliment you ever received?

You’re such a smart women, and that is a very sexy thing.

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session?

I had been thinking about it, when a friend mentioned that she wanted to do it to, we decided why not?!?!

What is the thing you would want to share most with other women when it comes to getting half naked in front of a camera?

It seems like it would be really hard, what with everyone having their own self doubt about parts of their body. But in the end I felt like it put some of that self doubt to rest, I felt amazing, confident of beautiful.

What do you feel when you look at the images now, well after your session?

I feel amazing, I feel confident. I feel beautiful. I feel like my outsides finally match my insides.
