Justin Rose two clear at weather-affected Indonesian Masters

The highlight of Sung Mao-Chang's second round at the Indonesian Masters was this hole-in-one!

Justin Rose retained his place at the top of the leaderboard and held onto his two-shot lead on a weather-affected second day at the Indonesian Masters.

The Olympic gold medallist was four under for the day with two holes to play when the second round was suspended at 5.40pm local time (10.40am GMT) due to fading light.

Thunderstorms had seen play halted for nearly two hours during the afternoon session, with Rose one of 36 players set to return to complete their round when play resumes at 6.15am on Saturday.

Kirdaech Aphibarnrat is Rose's closest challenger on 12 under after a blemish-free 64, with Giwhan Kim and Scott Vincent a further stroke back in a share of third.

Following on from his opening-round 62, Rose birdied the second and posted back-to-back gains from the fifth before picking up a shot at the ninth to reach the turn in 32.

A birdie-two at the 11th moved Rose three clear before play was suspended due to electrical activity, with the Englishman carding his first blemish of the week at the par-three 15th when the action resumed.

Aphibarnrat made his move up the leaderboard with five consecutive birdies around the turn, with Vincent three off the pace with five to play after playing his first 13 holes in six under.

Sung Mao-Chang fired a hole-in-one at the par-three seventh on his way to a four-under 68, while Brandt Snedeker withdrew through injury 11 holes in to his second round.
