On the Scene at the 2019 Grammys
At the Grammys, musicians always stun with unconventional outfits and heartfelt acceptance speeches, and 2019 was no exception. The belle of the ball was Cardi B, whose pearl-strewn vintage Thierry Mugler ensemble shone as she became the first solo female artist to win Rap Album of the Year. Backstage, Best New Artist winner Dua Lipa did a quick-change to get her trophy after performing her hit single “Electricity” with St. Vincent. Drake, Post Malone, Diana Ross, Jennifer Lopez, and Album of the Year winner Kacey Musgraves were all on hand to celebrate.
