Every time Vladimir Putin so much as sneezes, Russian luxury brand Caviar commemorates the occasion with a gold-plated iPhone sporting the president’s intimidating mug.

But the designers and meticulous jewelers took a pause of Putin for its latest blinged out iPhones to tell a Biblical story about temptation in the Garden of Eden.

The most detailed in the line of four cases is a re-creation of a famous painting of Adam and Eve with a snake lurking in a nearby tree by Lucas Cranach.

Of course, the Apple logo plays the role of the bitten fruit and in characteristic Caviar opulence is plated in gold. The replica of the 1526 painting is on a leather canvas that is framed with gold braiding.

The other three models are named after each character in the painting, including the snake. The “Adam” design combines leather, black onyx, and gold with a scale pattern. The “Eve” model features a covering of white leather with optional diamonds. The “Snake” is covered in snakeskin that surrounds a gold-plated Apple logo.

“The history of mankind is built on the human craving for new things,” a Caviar press release states. “We are all tempted by the undiscovered, and it makes our life beautiful, interesting and unpredictable.”

It’s a nice story that starts at $3,830.

Caviar: luxury and leadership

Caviar’s artists are some of the most prolific of the companies that embellish Apple devices. It has a whole series of Putin tribute phones, including one that celebrates his announcement of a new long-range nuclear missile.

Caviar has also saluted President Donald Trump as an expression of hope that the two countries will warm its relationship.

Most recently, Caviar unveiled an iPhone X that featured both Putin and Trump in gold relief to commemorate their summit in Helsinki, Finland.

Most of the customized iPhones sell in the $4,000 range, however, Caviar knows some are on tighter budgets. The company also makes blinged-out cases for around $1,000.
