Dear Friends and Customers,

The present Covid-19 pandemic has tremendously crippled businesses on a global scale, stalled operations, created cash flow crunches and hindered new revenue realizations. The worst hit among these are the SME’s who would usually have very slim cash reserves and are totally dependent on the day to day operations.

This global pandemic which all of us had initially expected to be brief has however proven us wrong. The trend seems to be still rising despite many countries putting in great effort in attempting to flatten the curve. Many nations have suffered and many more are still living the ordeal. When will all this come to an end, it is still very hazy to even come to that conclusion.

In order to bring this pandemic under control and to break the cycle of infection, many nations have enforced Movement Control Order and some, where the situation is much worse, have enforced a total lockdown altogether. Here in Malaysia, the government has enforced the previous and we hope that all Malaysian give their utmost cooperation by staying at home and help curb the spread of Covid-19.

Second CRM Pledges Support For A Nationwide Movement Control Order



Last night, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had announced that the entire nation shall be on a movement control order commencing March 18 to 31, 2020 in order to combat the sudden increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia. We at SoftSolvers Solutions wholeheartedly agree with the government’s decision and pledge our support to this order.

This is a crucial move as it would drastically reduce the spread of the Coronavirus and prevent new cases from emerging. Nevertheless, our customers are rest assured that business is as usual for us and we shall continue to provide our customer support services, just like any other day. This is made possible using our technology platform, Second CRM, and internet services as we are now able to work remotely in the comfort and safety of our homes.

Using Second CRM, we are able to run the entire organisation remotely and not only limited to our customer support services. Marketing Department runs as usual as they can still execute their Marketing Campaigns regardless where they are.

For our Sales Team, it is business as usual as well as they can still access all their accounts and contacts using Second CRM. Sales calls can be done as per normal and all customer interactions can be tracked in Second CRM. Any new enquiries can be immediately attended to as these are all automatically logged in the Leads module and assigned to the salesperson for further action. This ensures that all incoming enquiries are just not left unattended to during this movement control order.

Improve Efficiency While Working Remotely With Second CRM



The last few months have been truly trying times for all of us with the recent Covid-19 outbreak. The gravity of this outbreak had been so intense so much so World Health Organisation has classified this as a Pandemic. The spread of this Coronavirus is so rapid that the whole world has been greatly affected at such a fast and unimaginable rate.

Globally, people are taking precautionary measures and avoiding crowded places. All entry and exit points are being monitored by thermal sensors and most organisations are recording temperatures of customers and employees who come into their premises. In line with this, organisations are taking steps for the safety and wellbeing of their employees by enforcing remote working from the comfort and safety of their own homes.

This is certainly a healthy approach as it curbs the possibility of coming into contact with the deadly Coronavirus. We at SoftSolvers Solution did a one-day trial of the same and kept the entire organisation connected throughout the work day using our very own Second CRM. A post 360-degree evaluation of this exercise revealed some stunning results.

Team Second CRM's Monthly Engagement Day





Having started the company in the year 2010 and building the team ever since then, we have learnt the importance of having healthy and regular employee engagement activities that brings about positivity and a profound understanding of each other. This team engagement day is a scheduled monthly activity that happens regularly in Second CRM.

As such, for the month of February, we had our team engagement day on the 15th of February 2020. It was a day filled with numerous activities that involves personal enrichment talks, knowledge sharing sessions, recreational activities involving the entire team and finally lunch in the office.

This time around, the day was kick started by our Vice President of Human Resource and the topic that was shared was around personal enrichment and understanding the personality of oneself. A very insightful sharing followed by hands on activities with the team. This was followed by another knowledge sharing session by our Vice President of Business.

Second CRM Presents An Innovative Solution at MTE 2020



 Having had a very humble start in the year 2001, Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) started off as a platform for inventors and innovators to showcase their technology. This year, now in its 19th edition, MTE has grown to become one of the region’s most recognized international invention exhibition, each year connecting more and more inventors and industry players.

This year, MTE 2020 was held from the 20th to 22nd February at Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur and Second CRM is proud to have been chosen to be a part of this prestigious event. The innovative solution that was showcased by Second CRM was our Degree Authentication System which was developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology, University of Malaya.

Ecommerce Day 2019




On the 9th and 10th of December 2019, Second CRM had participated in the Ecommerce Day 2019 event which was organized by MDEC, in collaboration with MITI and KKMM. This is the second time that this annual event was being held and the theme for 2019 was From Local to Global Champion.

The event was held at Menara MITI, Kuala Lumpur and it was a huge success. Very interesting line up of talks were presented by world renowned speakers from all around the globe and alongside, there was an exhibition on eCommerce related solutions running parallelly. The whole objective of this event was to encourage and inspire Malaysian business owners to adopt eCommerce and go cross border.

It was at this exhibition that Second CRM showcased our award winning Second CRM for Retail & eCommerce Solution and the reception that we had received from the attendees was overwhelming. Second CRM for Retail & eCommerce Solution is a platform that manages your entire offline and online business in a single system.

Second CRM Collaborates with University of Malaya


It is with great pride that we would like to announce Second CRM’s collaboration with the University of Malaya. In playing our part for the betterment of the nation, Second CRM is proud to be sponsoring the research & development effort on Blockchain Technology.
This collaboration is with the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology and the project duration is estimated to be three years. The key objective of this research is to address three main areas: Combating counterfeit goods and products in Malaysia, assisting the Higher Education industry in Malaysia by identifying fake degrees and finally, eradicating financial fraud in the country.

Second CRM Joins ScaleUp Malaysia’s Inaugural Cohort


It is with great pleasure that we would like to announce that Second CRM has made it to the inaugural cohort of ScaleUp Malaysia. ScaleUp Malaysia is founded by some of the top mentors in the country who have a huge reputation among the Malaysian startup ecosystem.

The founders of Proficeo Consultants Sdn Bhd, Renuka Sena and Dr. Sivapalan have now joined hands with three other entrepreneurs, Aaron Sarma, Andre Sequerah and Shan Tay Li, and have come up with this latest accelerator programme, ScaleUp Malaysia. In the initial round of selection, from over a hundred companies that have applied, twenty companies have been selected for the first round of mentorship and Second CRM is priviledged to be one of them.

This initial three-month programme is designed to identify the gaps in these companies and coach the stewardship in bridging those gaps and growing the company out of it. And the subsequent twenty-one months is designed to take these companies places by doing an overall transformation in all aspects of the business and management style.

A Big Thank You To All Our Customers

It seems like the year had just started and now, here we are at the close of 2019. 2019 had been an interesting year for us at Second CRM, both in terms of customer acquisition as well as product releases. Firstly, we would like to thank all our customers for having supported us for all these years. And a very big Thank you to the new customers who pledged their confidence in Second CRM and came on board throughout this year.

In addition to the new customers that had come on board, the team itself had expanded and therefore, more effort has been put into R&D and product enhancements. We are fortunate to have a bubbly and dedicated team that are totally dedicated towards achieving the organizational goals. As such, the dedication towards work and the immense team spirit that is at play at all times is truly inspiring. A huge thank you to all our team members for their great motivation.

In terms of product enhancements, there has been a major upgrade to the existing Second CRM with a total changeover of look and feel and lots of new features have been added. In addition to that, an entire new product suite of Office Automation had also been added thus further enriching the functionalities already available in Second CRM.
