STOCKTON — A hit-and-run crash caused a power outage in Stockton on Tuesday afternoon.

A white commercial-type vehicle struck a power line in the area of Ponce De Leon Avenue and Acapulco Way about 2:40 p.m., police said.

The crash caused two power poles to fall over, with one pole landing on a housing complex.

The driver then fled the area.

About 150 homes were without power at 5 p.m. PG&E is on scene trying to restore electricity.

Anyone with information on the driver of the vehicle is encouraged to call police immediately.
