Kathmandu
The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), the public power utility, has reduced the load-shedding hours by an hour daily to be effective from June 7.
With this, the current duration of power-cut of 10 hours daily would be reduced to nine hours.
NEA Load Dispatch Centre chief Bhuwan Khatri said the load-shedding hours would be reduced gradually due to the increase in the water level in the rivers.
According to him, 700 megawatts power is generated daily at present as against the demand of 1350 megawatts. RSS
