Google Appoints Chief Game Designer, Won't Say Why

by Kyle Hilliard on May 05, 2013 at 02:14 PM

Google has hired Noah Falstein, someone with a long history in game development, and given him the title chief game designer. Outside of those few details, we no nothing else. Falstein confirmed to Gamasutra that this is all true, but he couldn't say anything else.

"I can confirm that the title and job is accurate. Can't say more at this time, sorry!"

Falstein has worked with companies like LucasArts, 3DO, and Dreamworks, but lately his focus has been on his consultant work with his company, The Inspiracy.

What do you think Google is planning to do with Falstein? Publish games? Develop games? It's all very mysterious.
